Hi Anthony,

  1. I think policies that could be standardized to meet compliance requirements would be extremely beneficial e.g. policies that are deemed necessary for JCI accreditation. Even to use as a template and then amended to suit the specific hospital would save a lot of time and effort.
  2. Wouldn’t it be great if IT/Cybersecurity policies could automatically adapt and update dynamically to reflect changing and emerging threats and trends.
  3. The dreaded policy on policies, I’d love to make this an engaging policy that people actually want to read. Could AI help with this?

Many thanks,

Human Resource Policies - Paid Time Off, Sick and Safe Leave, FMLA, and Attendance are some of the most searched policies, and can be easily misinterpreted. Anything AI could do to help incorporate the laws they’re based on and make them more straight forward has the potential to reduce misconceptions.
Pharmacy Policies/Protocols/Guidelines - Those that are more complex could benefit from AI to help keep them concise so they’re more straight forward.
Lab Policies - Any that are related to equipment usage and cleaning. These are usually very long and detailed on purpose. If the manufacturer recommendations could automatically be included to prevent the policy owner from having to transcribe every one of those steps, it could save time.
